Credit Control / Risk Asset Management of 14 out of 19 Branches of the Bank.  Study credit proposals and present them to Management / Board of Directors.  Monitored, analyzed Bank's total credit exposure; industry / country wise.

Ensure implementation of decisions and Branch compliance with Credit Procedures.  Follow-up with Branches in respect of overall credit activities, suggest remedies in default situations and monitor loan administration.

Preparation of Credit Policies and Procedures and design formats for improved presentation, record keeping and data access.  Examine computer reports and suggest developments to enhance productivity and improve M.I.S. functions. 

Achievements:       

·         Developed and implemented better report procedure for risk management.

National Development Finance Corporation (NDFC), Sep 76 till Jan 80

Assistant Manager.

Critically analyze projects and feasibility reports of industrial projects to judge there requirements for both long and short term funds.  Compute, analyze and recommend the projects based on their financial and economic benefits for the approval of the Board of Directors of NDFC, Asian Development Bank (ADB) and World Bank.

Visit and gather hands-on information and follow-up of Implementation and Operations of various ongoing projects.

Held Power of Attorney on behalf of NDFC; and Signatory on the panel to get approval and fund disbursements from Asian Development Bank.

Only officer having the privilege and authority to visit projects alone, to review financial, economical and technical aspects of lending and independently handle projects due to my dual qualifications of Engineering and MBA.

Achievements:       

·         Had the privilege of handling entire projects single handedly and accessing there financial, economical and technical viabilities.

·         My productivity in NDFC was three fold which consistently resulted in double increments.
